Drawing on a rich international background in operatic performance, Huihui is an emerging soprano currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance at the UMKC Conservatory. She previously earned her Master of Music degree from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Music from the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music.
Huihui’s performance experience spans the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Serbia, and Italy. Her recent roles include Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Musetta in La Bohème, Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, and Susanna in concert performance. She has also participated in major productions such as Turandot, Die Fledermaus, Carmen, and original operas premiered at leading Chinese theaters. In 2025, she joins productions of Carmen (Frasquita cover), Cendrillon (Maguelonne cover), and Lakmé, alongside presenting her doctoral recital.
Beyond the stage, Huihui is active as a vocal coach, stage manager, and opera director assistant, with teaching and leadership roles across multiple institutions. Her work has been recognized through numerous scholarships and awards, including the Mary Zesky Scholarship and the Marvin Millsap Scholarship.
