Synopsis: “A Tortoise’s Year of Fate” talks about a depressed steel factory worker trying to find a sense of hope in his humdrum life in an impoverished neighborhood. It is a story about a “nobody” rebelling against his routine and trying to liberate himself from his unpromising future, a melancholic tale of modernity and the decay of liberty.
