When The Wind Blows - Short Film

Synopsis: Yuan is a single mother who lives in their family house with her 5-year-old daughter in a remote village in South China. While she is grieving the loss of her father who just died for cancer, her daughter couldn’t understand the meaning of death and why her grandfather suddenly ‘disappears’. The 20-minute film deals with the interwoven cycle of life and death through a 5-year-old daughter’s point of view together with the spirituality and belief in nature that carries life of human being.
