Whistleblower - Experimental Film

In December 2019, Chinese doctor Li Wenliang warned colleagues on social media about a virus that would become the coronavirus epidemic. Li was forced to sign a police document to admit that he had “seriously disrupted social order” by spreading the “rumor.”

February 7th, 2020, the “whistleblower” doctor died after he was infected during the fight against the outbreak, said Wuhan central hospital, where he worked, in a statement.

This experimental film pays homage to Li Wenliang.
